Subject: Region Awards Nominations

Dear Patrol Director:

We have once again reached the point in the year when nominations for New Hampshire Region Outstanding Awards can be made.  As in previous years, the awards categories for 2005-2006    will include: 

                   Outstanding Full Time Patroller  
                   Outstanding Part Time Patroller  
                   Outstanding Student Patroller  
                   Outstanding First Year Patroller  
                   Outstanding Large Ski Patrol  
                   Outstanding Small Ski Patrol  (20 or less members) 
                   Outstanding Auxiliary Patroller  
                   Outstanding Educator Award  
                   Outstanding  Patrol Director

Remember, to be eligible for the Outstanding  First Year Patroller the nominee must be in his/her first season of  NSP membership, and have completed candidacy at the time of nomination.

All nominations must be submitted on the appropriate forms.  Award forms are available for download on the member log-in section of the NSP website. Find the forms in either section 10.14 of the online version of the NSP Policy & Procedure Manual or in the Downloads section of every NSP member’s online bookshelf.  Please read the instructions carefully to make sure your nomination will be accepted.  They should be typed-normal font please, not microscopic!  Write in third party verbiage, i.e., no specific language that could identify the nominee.  The deadline for submission to me is January 6, 2006.

These awards reflect significant accomplishments, not just in patrolling skill, but for the kind of spirit, dedication, and service to the skiing public that typifies the ideals of NSP.  The material submitted will be presented to the awards committee for consideration.
